In April 23, 2017 witnesses the beginning of two graduate students’, Mohaimenul Islam and Ahsanul Karim, respectively from Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, Gono Bishwabidyalay University, Bangladesh,3-month internshipat Department of Radiation Physics in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital (ZJCH), whichremarksthe first time of international cooperation betweenZJCH and overseas universities ingraduate students’cultivation.
According to theMOUto besigned, Gono Bishwabidyalay University will send 2 graduate students per year to Zhejiang Cancer Hospitaland furthercarry out joint research projects in areas of common interest. The abovetwo students, who are currently engaged inscientific researches in TOMO therapy and three-dimensional dose reconstruction,will complete their graduation dissertation and related scientific research under the guidance of supervisors, Dr.Wang Binbing and Dr. Yang Shuangyan,at Department of Radiation Physics.
Office of International Cooperation & Exchange of Zhejiang Cancer Center has made great effort to assist two foreign students with their application, domesticaccommodation and cooperation agreementsigning,etc.While Department of Radiation Physics hasmade upall the training programsfor these two foreign students in consistence with guidelines ofZhejiang Cancer Hospital. The joint training program of international graduate students sees an advance in international cooperation and communication in radiation physics of ZJCH.
Two students, in thanks for the warmhospitality from the staff at ZJCH, believed their visit will round up with huge success.
