ZJCH acts as a teaching hospital for over 15 medical schools such as Zhejiang University, West China Medical College of Sichuan University and has abundant experience in teaching and training students, residents as well as fellows. ZJCH International Oncology Training Program offers a unique opportunity for foreign workers who are interested in a different medical experience to sharpen their medical skills with prolific training modules and tailor-made observation courses.

4 Cancer Centers

Gastric Cancer Center

Led by president of ZJCH Xiangdong Cheng, Gastric Cancer Center has performed the most GC surgeries in Zhejiang for 10 years. Prof. CHENG and his team’s research was awarded the 1st Prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award for their achievements in GC diagnosis and treatment.

Maxillofacial Head & Neck Cancer Center

Maxillofacial Head & Neck Cancer Center pioneers in several head & neck surgeries, runs the most head & neck tumor-related clinical trials in Zhejiang and is also the co-training center of Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons.

Breast Cancer Center

Led by Hai Hu, the national distinguished young scholar, Breast cancer center launched over 200+ clinical trials on new drugs and technologies with the most Leading-PI Trials in Zhejiang Province. Besides, featuring clinical programs, like Breast reconstruction and nipple reconstruction based on implants and autologous tissue are performed regularly.

Thoracic Cancer Center

Thoracic cancer center has a solid research foundation and remarkable achievements. The annual outpatient volume of the team exceeds 100,000, and the annual inpatients volume is about 25,000. Its special technologies and modes of operations are among the highest in the province.

10 MDT

Endoscopy Center

Endoscopy center holds an annual volume of almost 40,000 patients for routine gastrointestinal /ultrasound endoscopy. Every year, over 1000 ESD treatments and 200 stent implantation are performed. It is well-known in China for treating early stage tumors of the entire GI tract.

We will offer you in this program:

2. An inspirational English speaking professor, who is keen to answer all your questions, for you to shadow in ward rounds, patient consultation and surgical observation

We hope whoever apply for this program is a fellow who has:

1. A basic knowledge of China and Chinese culture

2. A certain level of Chinese or English language ability

3. Obtained a physician license at home country with over 5 years of medical experience
